Appropriate Concrete/Demolition Saw training is mandatory for most large companies who have workers regularly using this particular piece of specified ‘high risk’ plant. Our non-accredited Quick-Cut Operator Course fulfills the requirement for having workers adequately trained in the use of high risk equipment. With a strong emphasis on Workplace Health and Safety; we give participants a thorough understanding of what constitutes safe conditions for the use of a Quick-Cut saw, citing common examples of where use is in-appropriate and can be personally hazardous. Site preparation, mandatory PPE, pre-start checks, correct cutting wheel selection and equipment faults are all covered. Included in the course is a practical component where each participant must correctly demonstrate basic cutting techniques and start-up/shut-down procedures.
