The Firearms courses then requires a written exam focusing on competencies related to the particular category of firearm you are qualifying for. The firearms courses cover your knowledge and understanding of firearms terminology, basic firearm functions, firearms safety procedures as well as other issues related to the use of a firearm.
The written exam will be followed by a practical assessment in both live and dry fire situations.
